One of the most anticipated PS4 games of the year, Star Ocean -Integrity and Faithlessness- is a joke, according to most gamers. It's so bad that Amazon are already selling it almost half price (4,799 yen down from 8,618 yen).
The main points of criticism are:
- Bad camera: it constantly wobbles around, making people sick.
- No way to skip cut scenes.
- Uninspired story and characters (just see how ugly the main heroine is).
- Badly scripted cut scenes (dialogue that makes you cringe).
- Small number of maps: mostly on a single planet or in a spaceship.
- Unbalanced and confusing battle (e.g. the special effects actually block the view).
- Too short: most people are saying around 20 hours.
Darn, that's pretty disappointing. Thanks for the heads up! I should have seen this coming after the previous couple Star Ocean titles...
